The International & Industry Liaison Unit plays a pivotal role in the Jamaica Customs Agency’s (JCA) to achievement of its Mission and Vision by providing integral technical support by:
- representing the JCA on relevant trade related matters locally, regionally and internationally;
- reviewing, implementing and disseminating relevant trade, tax and policy information;
- maintaining the tariff and trade databases; and
- building capacity through training and sensitization for both internal and external stakeholders.
