The Government of Jamaica through the Ministry of Finance & the Public Service (MOFPS) as executing agency, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank toward the cost of the Fiscal Administration Modernization Program (FAMP) – JA-L1039, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Engagement of a National Project Team (NPT) for the Implementation of an Electronic Single Window (ESW) for Trade Regulation for the Government of Jamaica (GOJ). The NPT will counterpart the experts provided by the vendor, and will inculcate the capacity for maintenance and further development of the system in the post-implementation phase.

In this connection, the MOFPS hereby invites applications for the following Individual Consultancies in the project management office (PMO):

 

The scheduled period of implementation is three (3) years and engagement will be up to fifteen (12) months in the first instance.

Details of the assignments are set out in the respective Terms of Reference which will be available on the JCA website https://www.jacustoms.gov.jm/ with effect from Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Selection will be performed in accordance with the Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2350-9), and the guidelines detailed in the Government of Jamaica Handbook of Public Sector Procurement Procedures.

Successful candidates already in the Public Service may be contracted on secondment.
